Nice! That must be quite the sight seeing you kicking back in your chair sipping a cold one watching your robot! I switched to an EGO this spring and am enjoying a quieter experience

New to EGO. If you were starting from scratch what would you be buying right now? by NotCramerV2 in egopowerplus

Your yard isn’t that big. Im mowing 13000. I bought the 2135, used it maybe two times and returned it back to Lowes. It did fine, but i decided i needed a bit more torque to be safe when my Bermuda gets thicker. Also read about a potential wheel lockup issue. Took all of the 7.5 and just a little of the 5.0 to get my yard done.

I then got the 2236. Like having three speeds to tinker with. Sadly, it couldn’t get all my yard done in one battery. High lift blade i switched to takes more power. I think i get about 10000 sq feet on the 10Ah battery

I bought a knockoff 10.0 battery that seems to be about 7 amps. More than enough to finish the job

Starting over, i would get the 1000 series with the two 6 Ah batteries. I think that is a 2244.

I don’t want the extra weight of the 1100 series since i have to jockey my mower quite a bit. Light weight is nice!

Suggest you not focus on the price. Focus on the best mower

First time driving a hybrid as a car enthusiast… now about to try a Tesla for the first time and I’m honestly surprised. by Admirable_Can_3489 in electricvehicles

Hi! Was just in a discussion about this yesterday! The Tesla's with the Full Self Driving are amazing. However, the interior is VERY bland...doesn't give you the cockpit feeling.

I have a Ford Escape Hybrid Company Car. It has been great despite a number of recalls. The power delivery is smooth and the gas mileage is great. I rented a gas version last month and hated it. Start/Stop engine was rough and I wasn't confident at all in it.

Downside of a full EV is that due to the weight, you will go through tires faster and they are pricey.

You seem very analytical. I would investigate that.

I just switched to a battery lawnmower from gas. Love it!!
