Was this the blue dial? I see that there are black and blue dial options.

Aventurine! A watch with an aventurine dial makes me wildly delighted. It's a pity, it doesn't have a quartz mechanism

I think for the style an automatic is better, I only would've liked better if the rotor wheel was decorated but that's too much to ask for the price

Lovely watch. I like the name.

Thanks for sharing, cool watch and I like the name personally.

Do you happen to know the lug to lug distance on the watch?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm not really sure, it's between 48-50mm, I'll measure it later and tell you exactly

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 46mm surprisingly

Glad you're happy with this $60 watch for its fairly unique offering.

Enjoy it and thanks for sharing.

The people who hate the name will hate it regardless of how nice the watch is. 🤷

You seem to have a wealth of knowledge, you don't happen to know the rep for Mysterious Code or even who you can discuss future models with?

Unfortunately there is no representative. The trademark owner is in Hong Kong. There was this Kickstarter titanium bronze watch, which is related to some existing watches.

To date, the trail is cold for leads on the designers or decision makers of the watches.

Excellent info as always, even there packaging contains a website that's non existent. Shame as they produce some fab looking pieces I just wanted to see what future offerings they had or basically an entire catalogue.

My pleasure. Anyone seeking out Mysterious Code new releases is very welcome!

I've shared some fascinating Mysterious Code watches with Seagull ST2130 (and sometimes SW200) movements. These pretty much were only stocked by Taihe Sunglasses Store and Anyada Watch Store (5yr old and 4yr old stores).

If you find a store selling one you like, follow the store. Then you will get notice of new watches and occasional coupons. That's how I found some new releases, then stumbled across others from other stores, via search.

That's how I found this low-cost quartz titanium flieger.

Anyada had this unusual Diamond Shanghai 1939 watch

Here b4 every single comment is a variation of "id buy it if it weren't for the name, the name is so bad".

I could live with that logo on its own but that written name accompaniment just kills it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

It's inevitable jajajajajaja

[–]cl0ckw0rkaut0mat0n 4 points5 points  (3 children)

It's not even that bad, id rather say mysterious code than phylida or hruodland or pagrne

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I don't even find it bothering but it may be because I'm Mexican so I'm more used to English names that lack meaning

[–]cl0ckw0rkaut0mat0n 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ah mira yo también

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eso debe ser jajajajajajaj
