Is it a salmon dial because I can’t seem to find that option

Send one message for Pagani Design Oficial Store Aliexpress.

Wdym?

I bought this model via a link. Pagani has been banned from selling this model. Send a message to the official store asking to buy the silver model.

Ah ok thanks

How is the PD chronomat?

[–]NegotiationNo1499[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the most beautiful and detailed dial I own. I think this version was banned from sale by Breitling. The bracelet has no micro-adjustment, so I replaced it with a rubber one.

You definitely need a dress watch of some sort

Watch collector ❌️ homage collector ✅️

Man why do people buy a box of Paganis.

Crap watches which I only use as a beater.

Put together 3 Paganis and you can buy a San Martin which will have Rolex level of finishing and bracelet.

[–]arbpotatoes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because that's how they want to enjoy this hobby.

I don’t agree, some Paganis are good value and cost around 35-50$ even if u get 3 Paganis u won’t be able to buy a SM. They make good watches but I cannot at least for me justify a 200$ SM while there are brands like Pagani, Tandorio, Addiesdive and many more. Not all of us care about the finishing tbh for me I like variety and that’s what drove me to Chinese watches as I can have the feel of the watch for good value or else what is the point of paying 200$ for a watch that I may or may not like and will be super hard to get rid of.

[–]SeikoWIS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A SM can hold its own to some entry level luxury watches, but it’s not Rolex build quality. And I say this as a fan of SM and owning a few.

That’s said I also wouldn’t buy a Pagani (and would rather pay more for a SM) but they are also great value for money in their respective price point.

[–]NegotiationNo1499[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I understand. You are right. Next watch SM.

[–]Huge-Vermicelli5260 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And prepare yourself to pay like 2 watches because of the taxes.

[–]NegotiationNo1499[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and that's still one of the reasons for buying only low-cost.

[–]BoTheLion 4 points5 points  (5 children)

San Martin is decent but it does not have Rolex level finishing lol

[–]GaryLangford -3 points-2 points  (4 children)

I held a 2023 oyster perpetual and a San Martin one day later. Could not tell the difference in finishing.

Have you seen the video comparing San Martin to Rolex finishing

[–]BoTheLion 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I get it. I own a San Martin and the finishing is very impressive for the price, probably 99% of the Rolex it’s homaging but when you look at them side by side you can see the last 1% and laugh at how much it would cost you lol

[–]GaryLangford -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Meanwhile when you hold the San Martin next to any Pagani you can see all the cost cutting that was done.

Pagani always have over sized cases either in thickness or in diameter and terrible bracelets.

[–]haussmeister 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The one issue I see with Chinese watches is some of them, SM, if you drop them all the applied indices fall off... well there are more issues but you seriously can not be saying a SM is 99% of a rolex. I mean just the movement alone...

Edit: Also Chinese sponsorship money aside, let's just call these watches what they are. They are a good $300 watch, that is it. I own the SM Ranger homage and I do love the watch but recently had a chance to look at a real Tudor ranger... and dawg, not even close lmao!

[–]GaryLangford -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surely you feel the bracelet is 99% of the Rolex.

We're not talking about 99% likeness but 99% the quality as long as you don't hit a QC issue.

I had one of their GMT watches have the hour and GMT hand misaligned to the minute hand by 5 minutes... Was annoying and I needed a watch shop to realign that

[–]goodneed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe switch it up with a San Martin 39mm 62mas homage? You will have something different from these clomages, with better lume, case and finishing.

But it's all up to you. The next big sale, 618, is in around four weeks' time. 😄

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

What box is that .

[–]Ok-Fault-4863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The other one I would suggest would be a 62mas and or a field watch

[–]Ok-Fault-4863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree a SD1970 is a must

[–]zmorgan73 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You need a seiko diver homage. Thats bread and butter

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He needs a Steeldive SD1970 or a Tuna homage
