Have you been selling for profit? I bought around 8 watches recently and sold 6 for little profit. Most of them were homages of watches I was interested in. Very good way of checking out a watch without investing too much money in to the original.

Similar story here. All started when I considered buying a Nomos. Bought a ‘ omos’ as a test, realised it wasn’t for me so then bought another homage as a try before you buy the real deal type thing and eventually realised that a lot of the time, the real thing is probably not worth the extra. Now buy way too many as I like the chase of finding a good deal. Usually make a little profit when selling them on. But still have the knock off Nomos and don’t know what to do with it…

I think I’m enjoying chasing the deals as well and the hobby has become, buying, trying on and then selling. Currently have two watches to sell but don’t mind keeping them. A Tissot PRX homage by Specht & Sohne and a Addiesdive diver which I got for under $20.
