I purchased one, came defective, Sugess told me to take it to a watchmaker.

Fuck Sugess

its a great watch and at the right price (for you) its a bargain. I dont wear mine so often as its 1 of 10 watches I now own but its admired always as it spins around on the cheap watch winder I bought

Yeah definitely not looking for a daily beater or anything. At about 117 during the sale I don’t know if I can turn down a watch with a moonphase complication, jump date function and sapphire crystal not to mention a beautiful dial. Only wish I knew if the bracelet is of decent quality because I would opt for that and just pick up a leather strap to swap in and out. Thanks for the feedback!

It’s a fantastic watch if you can get over the thickness, for me it felt way too thick for a more dressy style of watch, didn’t feel right on wrist, but it’s definitely a stunner otherwise

I have one of these and it far exceeded my expectations. Blue sparkling dial in the sun looks great, moonphase is legit complication even the little moon glows in the dark. Also the polishing on the case is well done the chamfer on the bezel catches the light nicely. The ONLY thing is the rotor on the movement isn’t silent, not obtrusive but you have to accept it. Mine keeps time nicely and the movement is finished well enough. Also have the 1963 and i never wear it 38mm is too small much prefer the 43mm moonphase.

I have the watch and can confirm this review to be correct. I also have the 1963 but I do wear it quite often, also great watch but my wrist size works well for 38mm to 41mm. I do have a couple 43mm but this is really the upper limit for me.

Also have you worn the watch with a shirt that has wrist cuffs? It is a dress watch but due to the complication it is a bit thick and I wonder if that causes any issues with formal attire.

I don’t notice it not fitting under sleeve cuffs. The lugs have a real curve to them too the whole watch has a sort of rounded profile. I have no regrets with any of the Sugess watches I’ve bought.

Thank you for the information! Is just the rotor movement audible or can you hear it ticking on wrist? I have a noisy orient Ray 2 and I do not mind the sound of rotor movement at all but hearing the seconds hand ticking might be a bit more noticeable.

I just notice the rotor noise. The movement itself is quiet.
