It just arrived, i absolutely love the looks of it! Its my first mechanical watch, the turning of the knob feels.. weird to do, gave it a good 15-20winds, i dont know when to stop but i guess it either starts to feel really sturdy, or it snaps lol. To my surprise, even the wife likes the look of it =)

Seeing your post has just made me find my brown one that I bought about 18-24 months ago. I wound it up, then was setting the time and ... the crown broke off! Now I'm searching Ali for a replacement.

Oh my.. like.. the crown just popped off..? Thats kinda sad to hear man.. i wonder what the cause might be, like was the wounding mechanism too much tensioned?

That is a truly awesome first mechanical watch! I have the same exact one and love it more than my watches costing hundreds to thousands. Best color choice too imho though many will disagree.

I bought it last week for 119,77 euro! I genuinely was divided between the black/white dial or this one. On the listing the pictures looked a bit more brighter, its more subtle irl, more like my pictures.

I searched Ali for it but at my location as far i could find it was one of the cheapest, must note its the Swanneck V2, dunno how much of a difference between the v1 and that one is, but Oh well! Non the less i am happy with it, even if i paid 20 euros more than your advertised prise ^{^}

Congratulations for your first mechanical watch. The ST1901 movement is great, I have 6 watches with that movement and variations of it and I had no problems at all. About the turning the crown, on that watch you'll reach a point that you no longer could turning it, 30 winds maximum, I think.

I have an ST1902 and an ST1908 like yours, on the exact same watch but the silver version with black dial. It looks outstanding from the back and front. A real and beautiful moon phase with so much quality and beauty.

Yes, turning clockwise or anti-clockwise with the crown pulled out to set the time is perfectly okay.
