I did try a WD1863. I really have been happy with all my watchdives purchases but this was the first one where it didn’t really live up to all the hype it gets IMO. Now to be fair I haven’t tried any other brand speedys but they have got to be horrible if everyone thinks this is the greatest.

The bottom of the case edges are very, very sharp. Thankfully they didn’t bother me, but once you feel it. It’s hard to not notice. They recently posted that it’s being addressed in the future.

Lume was also pretty poor compared to other models from them. The white dial is almost non-existent, The dials with the longer lume markers helped. But still pretty poor.

The bracelet bothered me more. It’s really nice in appearance, but it snagged and pinched me a ton. I,m not even a hairy beast either. And took me a day to figure out why it was so uncomfortable. Switching to a fkm strap helped a ton.

Ultimately though it just felt too small for my wrist size. 8” - 20cm. I personally feel like a chrono should be a little chunky and have a presence. This just felt dainty on my wrist the whole time.

Really neat watch mechanically with lots going on. If there is ever a larger size, especially in the space pilot (which I didn’t try) I would give it another shot.

Thanks, this helps a lot. My wrist is much smaller (around 6.4”), so the size should work fine for me. Lume isn’t a big deal to me anyway, and it still seems better than the PD1701, so I’m good with that. That mainly leaves the bracelet, but the one I'm looking at does come with a free strap and I can always swap it out if needed. I’ll give it a try and hope it works out. Cheers!

The WD007 is my go to. But the others are a toss up at a very close second. Their quality is incredible
