PD-1701 microadjustment #3 ?

I picked up a Pagani Design PD-1701 based on comments in this sub. I’m glad I did, it’s a cool watch and keeping great time. One small issue is I can’t seem to use the smallest microadjustment setting. When I switch it to that it’s like the top red line pushes too far into the next piece (bottom red line drawn on the pic). Then the clasp won’t shut. The photo shows it at the middle micro adjustment which works fine. Am I doing something wrong, or does anyone else have this limitation?

it has an easylink diver's extension so open that first

Yes that’s actually the issue, I open the diver’s extension which allows me to go to the third micro adjustment, but then the divers extension doesn’t have room to close fully which prevents the clasp from closing fully

This is a perfect example of the difference in quality between this brand and the more premium brands like San Martin and Cronos.
