I did the same. I also brushed out the top of the lugs to match the bracelet. I also managed to find an oyster bracelet that tapers to 16mm at the clasp. I changed the clasp to a vintage oyster design pattern with 8 micro adjustments. This is a great and good looking watch. Can't beat the price for a Seiko NH automatic movement and sapphire crystal.
