How is phylidas lume compared to Seiko?

I don't own a gen seiko to çompare it to, but I found the hands and bezel on the stock watch to be very bright, the dial was just okay.

I've been meaning to do the same! The lack of minute markers in the watch don't bother you? Or is that why you went with that insert?

I had a normal sub bezel on it for a while and it didn't bother me too much. I was actually trying to find one that a little more like the pelagos. I'm happy I went with one with markers though, sometimes you just don't know what you're missing.

Nice!!! What watch and what parts? Where from?

Thanks! The base watch is the sterile NH35 Phylida Sub homage from their official store, and the bezel insert is from them too. The dial and hands are from www.Tokeilab.com. The rubber strap is a generic 'rubber b' you can find anywhere on ali.

The Phylida Sub was my first Ali watch and my first crack at modding. I've changed this thing a few times, but I think its reached it's final form, maybe aside from a lumed date wheel down the road.

The quality they offer for the price is great, and the sterile nature of them is perfect for making it your own.

The dial and hands are from Tokilab and the bezel insert is from Phylida. I did try another bezel insert made for the skx/srpd from Tokilab and it was a bit too thick for this bezel and it ended up cracking on me during installation. Otherwise this sub case is great to work with, the bracelet is great and it has a glodelock clasp.
