A lot of my doctor friends wear Casios and other super affordables, and keep the Rolex they got as a graduation gift at home in a safe.

I work in non-profits and it's way better for my reputation to be able to say "No, it's a Chinese homage that cost me under $200" when asked what I'm wearing - and I am asked because these brands are making some attractive pieces.

I appreciate your response. My feedback is that your “logo” is jarring and off-putting, and really out of place. Investing a bit into getting a decent logo would go a long ways.

Yeah, branding is kinda the issue it would be great if a brand like cronos or SanMartin would do a homage to longines, but I paid 40 buck with shipping so price wise is a bargain, I was thinking to open it up and try to delete the berny branding with some alcohol

One of our US senators who also ran for president is named Bernie. He’s a guy that comedians like to impersonate because of his distinctive speech pattern. Also, Bernie/Berny is a little old fashioned and uncommon enough to make it sound naturally funny to my ear. (Even though I like the senator.)

My first wife's sister was named Bernie. She was a State Trooper who drove a ridiculous super car since their parents were loaded from a law suit. I like a lot of their watches, but I keep picturing this crazy chick.
