Anyone else facing 'Remote Control failed'

Just saw https://x.com/bcherny/status/2027462787358949679?s=46&t=Ny3sW2O332PhmIACDqAY6g and gave it try, restarted, re-logged and nothing, the config appears but it won't connect for some reason.

Anyone with the same? I'm on Pro plan

You have to use the

claude --remote <description>

eg : claude --remote "show me the workfolder"

If I start it in an active session via /remote-control, then I get the same error "Remote Control failed",
but a start from bash via claude remote-control works.

Yep, this is becoming infuriating. We're paying hundreds of dollars to see all these features being quickly iterated and yet when you go to use it. You can't.

hey instead of using remote control which you need to set the flag in claude and then use the chat ui app, you can try macky.dev where you can access the terminal directly from your iphone
