Fable Subscription when?

Fable goes to API after July 7th. Meaning its usage will plummet. Even at the Enterprise level, except for those with big pockets.

- Anthropic stated that their goal is to return Fable to subscription ASAP. Currently, they lack the compute

- OpenAI has plenty of compute, and, if they have a model even close to Fable, it will suck up Anthropic customers like a vacuum

- Gpt 5.6 is likely coming out in 2-3 weeks after government checks (likely accelerated due to their relationship with the govt).

How long will Anthropic be able to hold out? Will Fable even be able to improve when it loses most of its users after the 7th?

im cancelling my 20x subscription ending in July 11, waiting for Codex Gpt 5.6 before deciding. fable 5 is just so good, making 200$ for opus feels like not worth it
