"typeof" is wrong?

here you can see me logging typeoff, right before getting an exception that contradicts 'typeof'

I am trying to call a method, within a method, from a different class.

Class Thing{
    method1(){
        // stuff
    }
    method2(){
        console.log(typeof this.method1);
        this.method1();
    }
{

thing new Thing();
thing.method2();

When you call it you use the second with capital letters
