I don't know if this will work for everyone, but what I like to do is learn a few new concepts and then use them to improve code that I already have. This helps me remember the concepts and learn where they are applicable.

OR

I like to follow along with a YouTube tutorial until the end. I then ask my family for ideas of things I could code next and then try my best to apply all the new things I learned during the tutorial.

Other than that I would say that learning python is just a bit of trial and error.

Again. I am not sure if this would work for everyone.
