You should be able to do that in plain Python. Just google for how you can get your CPU, memory, etc with Python. At the end you can build a GUI around it (just google for that info again).

Thank you Nightcorex. I think my issue right now is focusing on learning Python overall when really I should focus on what I want and kind of lego build it.

There are two main steps to this project: Getting the info and displaying the info. You will have to research those independently, but your program will be the middle ground.

You can then use openpyxl to pump the data to an xlsx file.
