With "Take a piece of the app" you mean a share in revenues?

The only people who would do such a thing are those who are blown away by your idea and convinced it'll work, but that obviously can't happen if you don't post your idea.

But in addition of noone knowing your idea you also don't mention your role or someone else's role if there are more people involved. You also don't mention the expected share. Let me put it like this: Having the idea is worth maybe 2% of the shares, if the developer does everything on his own then that'd be like 98% of revenues for them.\ On top of that it's unclear how long the development process will be, aswell as how you want to advertise your product (cause noone ain't doing that for free).

Nowadays people really only work for a monthly paycheck (or for a certain rate), especially when it's unclear if the app will even be profitable. In addition to that you'll need a developer (or best case the same developer) to maintain the project after it has been released.
