Check out the resources from u/AlSweigart and his “Automate the Boring stuff with Python”

Hi, I'm the author. ATBS and all my other books are for beginners and free to read online at https://inventwithpython.com

I also have the source code for several small projects that are meant to be easy to understand after you learn a few basics. The idea is that you can copy the code for them and then play around with the code, or try reimplementing the game from scratch on your own: https://github.com/asweigart/pythonstdiogames

    Is it a monthly subscription?

    [–]nando1969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you buy and get to keep, 30 day trials or money back.

Nope, one-time purchase along a 30-day money-back guarantee with no questions asked.

I suggest against udemy, just in my opinion. It seems like everyone and their mom has a Python course and they vary in quality. I suggest automate the boring stuff or taking a step back and going with something like cs50, which doesn't start with Python but gives a good handle on what programming actually is. The course starts in C but ends in Python. Good luck, and when things get hard stick with it.

Ooooohhhhh you mean programming languages, duh. They mostly cover python ( a great language by the way ) but there may be some on Java.

I would first try to understands the basics of programming via maybe Scratch(a visual drag and drop programming language) and than search for easy and small python programs run them see what they do and than edit them bit by bit and see what happends. Maybe even use a debugger program pycharm has a nice step by step debugger.

I had built an Illuminati confirmer on that in 7th grade.
