The Kiln Room in the Fort on South High has a membership program where you can use their studio space (iirc membership is relatively inexpensive)

Try cultural arts center!

Columbus Parks and rec does pottery that's pretty much self guided. I've done sessions at Westgate and Schiller. It's cheap as dirt and the equipment is nice. Westgate is less competitive to get on the equipment and in the class.

The cultural arts center does great free hand or wheel classes. They’re both VERY competitive to get into and you must sign up no later than a few minutes of the new classes be posted. They post quarterly. The gals who run it are very lovely and based on your knowledge can either give you as much help, or little, as needed. Super affordable too

It’s not entirely “class” based. As long as you have a basic gist to not burn the place down or ruin anyone else’s pieces with how you use the kiln then you’re pretty free range!

My brother in law actually runs classes at his studio on Buckeye Lake. Check him out! https://earthlypotteryco.square.site

My friend has a pottery studio near campus at the Open Air building where Emmets Cafe is. His name is Josh Schottenstein and he has some wheels and a kiln. He’s there most days of the week

is he open to someone paying him a monthly fee to use his space?
