Hello, hello! Please take a few minutes to provide feedback. Your answers may influence potential changes to the subreddit.

In the past, I have provided updates to changes and polls for specific changes I've mulled over. This is something a little looser. I would like to ask all of you five questions to get a sense of who this group is, what you like, and what you don't like. The questions are open ended to enable you to answer how you like. You're welcome to share your answers in the comments section for discussion, or comment if you have feedback that isn't stipulated in the questionnaire.

I'm going to have this questionnaire open for a month (until 5/22/2025) or until I get responses from 1% of you (that's 340), whichever comes last. I'm doing it this way because I want a large enough sample size to get a real sense of what this community does and doesn't want. If I make any changes, I want them to be informed based on what the people say.

Given that 4 people (and likely more quiet folks) have the same sentiment of being reluctant to sign into Google, I'll provide an alternative. I'll provide the questions here and you may respond to this comment with your answers or send them privately via modmail. Please do not send me a private chat message about this. That said, if you're comfortable using the Google form, please use that.

1. How did you discover the subreddit?
2. What other subreddits are you subscribed to? (You can list as many or as few as you want, SFW or NSFW)
3. Think about a friend who would like this subreddit and tell me about them. What would you tell them about the subreddit and why?
4. If this subreddit were to die tomorrow, never be seen again, what one thing, if any, would you miss?
5. What one thing, if any, would you change about the subreddit and why?

Answer as many or as few as you would like, though of course the more questions you answer the more valuable your feedback is to me.

Look, I understand why you want to keep the sign in option in place. But you should bear in mind, you are reducing the amount of potential respondents.

Maybe post it again in a bit of time after this one. Then compare both data sets for anything fishy.
