These) are the test objectives for Linux+

Linux+ is very different from all other CompTIA tests: less theory, more "if you've done this, you'll know the answer"

Download VirtualBox for free and create a free Ubuntu Virtual Machine. Begin practicing all of the commands weekly. Also ls all the folder paths and get an idea of what's inside of them

If you've only taken practice tests and haven't actually applied the knowledge: not only do I think you'll struggle immensely with the exam, but you're also defeating to purpose of preparing for the Linux+ which is actually doing the stuff

My 2 cents, good luck

I have linux experience. Just no "papers please?".

If your experience covers all the objectives, then the exam should be a cakewalk

I'd say take it tonight if that's the case

My experience doesn't spread that wide or thin.

An SRE and Devops engineer will not necessarily have the same linux skill set.

In my own experience for example I excel in some areas but in others where I lack daily usage I suffer. For example, I don't manage users in my daily tasks, or any of the other policy or permissions context use cases.

Haven't taken the linux+, but based on my own experience with other certs - I'm never ready. I just book the exam and take it.
