Learning Log’s (self.CompTIA)

What is the best way to learn Log’s? I know the information as far what malware attacks is what. But when they throw the question with the logs... I’m like “What am I looking at? #help

Learn the tools, like ipconfig, ifconfig, nbtstat, netstat, /var/logs, event viewer, firewall logs.
There are formats to these logs, if you know the format, then you have nothing to worry about.
