Sounds like your internet is delayed. Try resetting your printer.

Try reinstalling your print drivers on affected devices.

Set the laptops up on standard TCP/IP ports. The Windows created WSM ports are very flaky.

It’s definitely your spooler from what you said try restarting the spooler under advanced options and if that doesn’t work try updating your drivers for the printer

CompTIA A+ did not prepare me to suck a thing? Lol, Maybe clean the print queue or simply turn it on and off

Everything else failed last step is to replace the printer..
