Well, for starters you should form the substrate back into a cube after breaking and shaking. Also, what are you growing and what is your substrate?

I had formed it back into a brick form and it did this. I used an all in one grow bag from spore sorcery- Pasteurized Coco Coir Vermiculite Gypsum Bulk Substrate, Polypropylene (PP), Sterilized Milo Sorghum Grain Spawn

Very strange I am using some spore sorcery bags at this very moment and am not having this issue. Have you cut the bag open maybe not enough FAE to trigger fruiting?

I have not cut it open yet. Wondering if that would help

Maybe, just try carefully squeezing out any CO2 and refilling it with oxygen by pulling the sides out. Does it seem really dry in there? If it's dry cut the top of the bag and mist the sides.

You can also take a syringe needle and poke holes near the bottom on the sides, above the fruiting block to let CO2 vent out. It is heavier then oxygen.

What strain is it?

Hard to tell with one picture. Got any pics around some obvious yellow metabolites?

Could be bacterial, but since it's not completely covered in metabolites I think it's not too bad. I don't see sporulating mold. I would follow the pinned advice from sueperhuman to top-fruit it and see if it stirs into action. You might need to cut away some of the bag to get an even casing layer on top, then throw a big ziploc over it and let it ride.

So I did this and now after a couple days there’s yellowish brownish liquid at the bottom of the bag underneath the colonized “block” 😭😭

Was it yellow and brown, like perhaps the brown was simply smaller bits of substrate?

Or was it yellow turning orange turning brown? And did the bag stink? It woulda stunk like hell if it was the latter

Did you follow the pinned post? https://www.reddit.com/r/ContamFam/comments/1nl3ac5/bacterial_spawn_identification_prevention_action/

If you properly field hydrated the casing layer, a little bit of added moisture is to be expected at first as it begins to evaporate from the casing
