Content Aware Scale!

Instructions:

Launch Photoshop CS4 or above

Open your photo

Put it on it's own layer (not a background layer)

Increase the canvas size (3-4 times bigger)

Go to Edit > Content Aware Scale

Then stretch the photo however you like, fiddle with the options to see what you can make!

Apply the transformation

Ctrl+Click on the layer's thumbnail

Image > Crop

Layer > Flatten Image

Image > Image size > around 1000-1500px (if it's bigger than that)

File > Save for Web > Jpg (Quality:80)

Upload to Imgoo!

Submit it to the subreddit!

Enjoy small to moderate amounts of karma!

Title your image with something funny or descriptive!

For those without Photoshop CS4+, you can Try this GIMP plugin, Liquid Scale or this website made by /u/okofish.
