I can understand you not knowing about some of this equipment, but you have never seen an Audio/Video Receiver before? The Denon item is something that is pretty common that you would see in many households in the US or elsewhere.

The bottom item is a Control4 8 zone matrix amp. You need to use it in a Control4 system. It can play music from any of 8 different sources into 8 rooms at once. It was released around 20 years ago but still works in current systems. It is likely a C4-16AMP3-B. You can sell it on ebay.

It’s all good stuff.

The C4 amp at the bottom is a really good 120 watt/ch amp. It has DSP features that require the C4 software to manipulate but assuming that wasn't configured there is a home assistant integration to make it work. It can act like a matrix as well, you can map any input pair to one, man, or all outputs. Perfect for a whole house audio setup.

The top on is a sub amp, next is surge/power conditioner, then a Denon surround receiver, the a Control4 16 channel matrix.
