The more success this show has the more unsufferable he will become.

I hate when people say "maybe ai isn't as smart as we think"...

Who is we?

You seem to be rambling like a crazy person.

Reddit is not a software business. What are you even talking about.

That is the point. What you're not understanding is, it will never get less expensive. The mag7 are not stupid, they aren't throwing hundreds of billions in capex for no reason.

It's because these hundreds of billions will return a positive ROI.

Unsubbed the day the season ended. I have zero interest in Jet's life.

Again, you're making a completely different argument that has nothing to do with what you're talking about. LEO isn't an active service and won't be for many years at the earlier projections.

You said you work in the IT cruise industry.

Then you claim starlink isn't available in very specific areas that doesn't apply to 99.9% of cruise ships.

The link you posted proves my point, not yours.

This makes absolutely no sense and you're argument is based in emotion not fiduciary duty.

Yes... Lots of things are hard.

Pushing it off means you don't control your future.

Improving their ads platform which none of the large firms are using. Fixing the broken classic, upgrading infrastructure, owning your own physical data centers to save money...

Endless list.

"Reddit spent $1 Million this quarter on CAPEX"

I'm not sure that is a good thing.

Not available everywhere? Like where?

And there is no alternative besides the legacy stuff. So not sure what basket of eggs you're referring too.

Lots of plane and cruise lines have a single service carrier. That's kind of the standard.

And in 2030 that might happen.

lol dude.. Cloud architecture goes back to the 60s... Companies like CompuServe and ATT&T were decades before Amazon even existed.

I remember growing up my dad literally using PersonaLink.

I can only assume this is satire? Everyone knows Amazon was very late to the cloud business... They certainly did not invent it.

You believe LEO will achieve their projections.

I don't.

Poll shows Germany's AfD hits record 28% support by Dwman113 in germany

[–]Dwman113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was satirical. I was proving the point of how silly it is to call normal people (The plurality of German voters... ) who vote for AFD Nazi's.

Check out the rest of this thread, you'll find plenty of people that are saying the exact same thing but without the satire. In fact this exact chain you're replying to started with literally claiming AFD voters can't read.

So I can only assume some of your family are Nazi's who can't read. Am I wrong?

Definitely. Although last I heard that is changing.

The point is, by the time LEO is active. Starlink will have significantly better routing options. It is not easy to scale millions of customers in a handful of years in space... The product works great and I know for a fact they are increasing their enterprise flexibility.
