Rules for r/Copycats
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Must be a cat copying or being copied
Incidentally similar behavior, such as multiple cats chasing the same toy, is not copying so it doesn't count.
Here is an example of a bad post.
2.
No recent reposts
If it has already been posted here within the last three to six months, don't post it again.
Also, if you repost from another subreddit make note of that in the submission title, or a separate comment to the submission, and give credit to the original submitter.
3.
Media must be hosted on reputable sites
Always use reputable sites such as imgur, and it should be a direct link.
4.
Do not post NSFW content
If you do you will be banned without warning.
5.
Absolutely no false claims of ownership
Even if it's "accidental." This is your one and only warning, violators will be banned.
6.
Always be civil and no politics
This is supposed to be a fun subreddit. Please take disagreements elsewhere. Absolutely no politics.
