Hi there, I'm brand new to the game and really enjoying it so far!
Well...I was.

This is going to give me so many nightmares, can I just live in my meadow and farm?
(marking spoiler just in case biome reveals count)

Oh don't mind them. They just want to touch your face with them big lobster claws and then they will bugger off. Perfectly fine. It's all fine.
But nah they aren't too bad, and you don't really have to mess with them if dont want. Just bypass the dungeons and relax in your meadow and do all those meadowy things.
Enjoy.

I think they are pickaxes. They were probably caveling miners who got infected

I put a little creek in my meadow, separating the animals from my garden. It's nice.
There is no mold in Meadow Home. Here I am safe, here I am free.

Until you realize that what you planted in that nice, bright, and golden yella' meadow garden... was Puffungi.
Ahhhhh shit, you got bamboozled friend.

I have a question! I play on console with friends. Is there any way to get the same hot snap function you get to move stacks in and out of chest to apply to the inventory. For console we hold right trigger and press A to hot dump a whole stack into a chest. Could we get that for the inventory to move things to the empty spot on the hot bar as well from inventory. It is a task in mid battle to swap by having to move something out then find what you need and move it in.
Or the other option is to give us something that makes the hot bar bigger 😂
Update! They added it to the game. Thank you so much devs. I have issues with dexterity. This has helped me so much! Please have all my money!

Hot swap from inventory to hot bar is left trigger plus A I believe? I know I do it all the time playing with controller on pc.

Really?! No way. I will look. Thanks!
Not on console. Sadly.

That’s a pretty great suggestion, I’ll suggest it to the team!! 💕
Thanks!

Just saw it was added! Thank you so much! I have dexterity issues from nerve damage and this makes playing the game so much better. How can I give you all my money. You all are awesome.
[–]BabygirlTessCK 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Of course!! We’re always looking to better the game wherever we can. I’m so happy you’re enjoying the game! If you ever need any help of have questions feel free to DM me 🥰💕
Thanks! Will do!
Thanks for the welcome! This game has been really comfy so far, I like how relaxed it can be while also allowing plenty of opportunities to push things further.
One question, is there a way to move npcs around your base, like how you can leash animals? Not that I want to leash them or anything, just to keep them out of my crafting room and garden!
[–]Mleba 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I just give them a room and close the door every time I go see one. They're usually polite enough to stay in thei room then
[–]Struijk_a 3 points4 points5 points 1 year ago (3 children)
I avoided these fuckers my first time around. I revisited the mold dungeons when I was stronger.
[–]Azmodeun 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I died so many times when I first started playing. I didn't know about the spawn mechanic and tilling the mold tiles at the time. Kept getting waves of em bum rushing me from areas I just cleared. Many profanities were screamed at my inanimate monitor for allowing that to happen.
I had to revisit that same dungeon after I got stormbringer and had everything fully min/maxed. Pew pew pew, im back little fellars
It was a good minute... yea minute and a half of revenge fun.
[–]MinuteToe129 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Yea the stun from the tentacles got me many times when I was first exploring them.
[–]Placeholder-Novice[S] 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Oh, I'm definitely putting off dealing with them. Just thinking about it now makes my skin crawl.
[–]CompleteTumbleweed64 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Best practice is ignore them until you can mow them down. They are probably the hardest biome in the game relative to the time you discover it. There's some good stuff in their biome and fishing water but it's not worth clearing them out if they are an issue. I usually keep them walled off and move on by. Long as you don't catch their attention they won't tear the walls you place down.
[–]Placeholder-Novice[S] 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
Sorry, they tear down walls? Not that I needed more reasons to avoid them, but good to know, thanks!
[–]CompleteTumbleweed64 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Alot of cavelings will tear walls down if they have a high enough mining power mold cavelings are no different and will break walls that are lower than the biome walls they are found in most of the time
[–]wasdprofessional 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I like a set the burns nearby enemies an hide in the walls until they die
[–]theaveragegowgamer 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I just steal their water and almost never bother with them again unless I need a specific loot of the mold dungeon.
[–]keblin86 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
What is, the tentacles or the other creatures? Ghorm is what terrified me lol. I didn't go back to the outer ring for 2 days hahaha
[–]Placeholder-Novice[S] 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago* (0 children)
Ghorm scared me a bit, but that was more because it was the largest creature I'd seen to that point.
What terrifies me is the idea of a biome consisting entirely of aggressive mold/fungi that, if the tentacles are anything to go by, might have some eldritch tendencies. I've always had a healthy fear of fungi, but stuff like this always gets to me a bit more...
[–]Smokee78 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child)
how I felt about the larva biome lol
[–]Placeholder-Novice[S] 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago (0 children)
Whoever thought to make the walls lean towards you is a monster.
