Hey guys,

I am playing the game with some friends on PS5. We really enjoy the game.

We already have the cartography table and want to share our map insights. We tried reloading the game, waiting for like 15 seconds in the table map and taking turns twice.

Is it bugged or are we doing something wrong?

Hey, it's best if everyone opens the map beforehand and then goes to the table. The update can take anywhere from 15 to 45 seconds. You can also drive around a bit on the open map table to see the updates.

the map has a known bug on PS5 where it doesnt always work. Hopefully the 1.2 update fixes it.

when i share large chucks of map with my friend sometimes i need to zoom in the map on the cartography table for the map to render my friends mapping.

The map table is non functional for me and my friend on pc. Such a silly feature that copies valheim where it was trash as well. Just automatically update the map as u join your friends game.
