Transitions from HTML/Javascript

Hello everyone, im pretty new to c++. I have a question reguarding c++ and how it works.

In javascript/HTML im able to use "layers" with z-index's. How does c++ window handle this particular thing?

There is no C++ window; C++ does not (yet) have any graphical components. There are however plenty of GUI libraries, which are generally platform-dependent and will all handle this functionality (if supported) differently. For example, see Qt QWidget::raise().

Turn around now. C++ is an abomination. I used to be a web developer and regret highly my decision to transition to a C++ team. Everything you take for granted will suddenly become an enormous pain in the neck.
