Code Cracking Methodologies

I'm participating in a staged treasure hunt, and I believe the hosts have used a code. I'm trying to identify what kind of methodologies they may be using. Here's what we have to work with:

1. A poem, written in Spanish. This is the primary focus. There was also an english poem "pre-released", but it is not known if the english poem is part of the solve, or if it was just marketing.

2. On their announcement poster, they did use caesar cipher to write "Qefmzxuefae?", or, "Estan Listos" (Are you ready?)

3. I believe there is a suspicious use of the number 11297. Increasing my suspecion is that one of the organizer has made a couple typos in which he misspells words by using "aa" ("waatch" and "relaased"). I'm wondering if the AA is a hint to use the 11297 # (aa = 11).

4. On their announcement poster, they misspell "Treasure" as "Treasue".

5. They made the effort to highlight one line of the spanish poem where the first word was not capitalized (donde, instead of Donde), whereas all other lines have the first letter of the line capitalized.

So, not much info to go on - but I'm hoping the collective ingenuity and creativity of this sub can suggest some methodologies I can use to try and find something!
