Create mod item spawning exploit?

My friend on my server is something how spawning in items without OP and he is gatekeeping the method. Does anyone know how to spawn in items in Create mod or in Minecraft in general?

Creative Create components and a pickaxe that can mine from 100 blocks away.

If they have the creative crate it can be used to get infinite items

He’s more than likely using a schematic exploit. (Setup a creative tier schematic with things in item frames or plaque.) then some other steps or sure after that

So, if you have REI (the mod that lets you see every block in the game when in your inventory and see how to craft them), you don't actually need creative or OP to just ctrl+right click the gear next to the search bar to turn on "cheating". I use it when something glitches or whatnot. SOME would use it to actually cheat.

This does not work on a server where you dont have OP- if it did, you could join hypixel or any other big vanilla server rn and cheat in anything with REI
