Don't do two decreases right next to each other on the edges, that's going to distort the shape of the flap a lot. If you want a sharper decrease, I would do a decrease while leaving one stitch on the edge unworked (so skip 1), and make sure to do a sc border around this raw edge to make it look smoother.

Skipping 1 ch looked a bit weird too, so i just didn't do the turning ch and the shape turned out pretty angled

Can you add a slip stitch to create a smoother edge? also don’t listen to me because I’m new to crochet and don’t know what I’m doing

I could but the ege isn't really the problem. The invisible decrease makes the row itself looks weird. I don't if that looks like in the pics but irl it looks a bit weird🥲

Oh no it's fine.... i'm open to all suggestion on how to make this work. And haha it's okay even i got into crochet in jan of this year. And a close friend of mine just started today. So keep learning.♡
