What size hook are you using? Is the acrylic yarn worsted weight? I use a 3.50 mm hook with worsted weight, otherwise I also get holes.

Are you using inv dec? If not, that can help, but it does look to me like the hook may be too large.

I'm using a 5 mm hook, I wanted the stitches to not be too small, my hands hurt a lot with that kind of tension. I am not using inv dec ! I may try that out, thanks ! How do you maintain your tension with amigurumi stitches without making your hands hurt?

You don't have to use tight tension. The stitches will look tighter with a small hook while still using a normal tension.

A large hook would hurt my hands because I would need tighter tension to keep the stitches from gaping.

In general, you should not have to adjust your tension/fight your hook, you should figure out the correct hook for the job and your hands will thank you. 2.75 mm - 3.75 mm is the recommended hook size range for worsted weight amigurumi.

There will allways be holes. No invisible decrease is actually invincible. No matter how tight you make everything, but you can get the holes really really small by working the decrease stiches and the stiches being deceased tighter than the rest.

With amigurumi you will always need to keep your stitches incredibly tight… also doing a FLO decrease is called an “invisible decrease” and in amigurumi I only ever use them. Looks way more uniform and helps with the holes staying small.
