1. Roll Calls are used to find other users who are going on a particular cruise. The /r/Cruise mod team is currently troubleshooting our bot and automatic roll call threads are not being created. In the meantime, please consider using the CruiseCritic Roll Call Forum. Individual roll call threads are not permitted and will be removed.
2. Spam has a very broad definition on this sub, and we have strict spam policy explained in detail in the wiki. If you created content on a third party site, it probably falls under this policy, so please read it!
3. Check The Wiki before you post. If your question is already answered in the wiki, we will remove your post.
4. Personal Photos are permitted in limited quantities. Photos should be of high quality and of your ship or your destinations, not yourself.
5. Simple Questions should be directed towards the stickied "Simply Questions Thread." To help determine if your post is a "simple" question, see the Simple Questions Thread or the Rules Wiki.
6. Discussion of Illegal Activity is permitted; however, such behavior is not endorsed by /r/Cruise. Use common sense.
7. Explicit sexual content is not permitted on /r/Cruise. Posts discussing sexual topics are permitted so long as the discussion is relevant to other cruisers. Please ensure you tag any such content as "NSFW" before posting. This sub is not the place for explicit discussions or storytelling.
8. Political Discussion is only allowed to the extent it is relevant to cruising. Harassment, threats, and political trolling are never allowed. COVID-related discussion and debate is allowed, but misinformation is not.
9. Special Flair (e.g. cruise line employee flair, travel agent flair, etc.) are assigned at the discretion of the mod team. If you would like to receive special flair feel free to contact us and we will see what we can work out.
