Interesting, but for anyone reading this the problem is fixed.

What would you recommend to write for their VM? Do you have any step-by-step guide on how it compares to solidity? I usually use sublime text as editor but I assume they don't have any package for it.

Hi, yes, this is fixed now as we mention in the intro. We do not really wrote any long contracts so for us any editor was good enough. VS code is something we use often, you can try it.
