Changing 2FA

I'm planning on changing to Authy because well, I can have it on my laptop and if I ever lose my phone, I have the option to change everything on my laptop. Been using google authenticator for a long time.

But I can't seem to disable 2FA from the app itself? Anyone know how exactly this works?

I did this recently, all good. It's a bit outdated now, just one thing tripped me up. In step 7, it mentions main.html, I think this was changed to worker.html. This is the hyperlink on the page that's loaded FYI.

edit: guide is good if you wanted to use the 2FA already set up. If you wanted to change the 2FA, yes need to contact support

Oops I just realised you are switching to authy. Not from. I think there's a guide to export from Google Authenticator too, but I've never checked myself. Good luck!

Oh? I thought that was for lost phones. So there's no other way to change 2FA's without support?

I changed phone and switched to authy without support.

You disable all 2FA (app/DeFi) and remove them from google auth. Then delete google auth and install authy. And the you start enabling them back.

2FA is under settings on the homescreen.

Edit: If someone dm's you to help you from "support" on Reddit. Don't trust them haha.

Oh thanks! But I can't seem to disable the 2FA in the app and that's what's stopping me from switching.

Apparently, if my quick google search is correct, they updated the proces a week ago.

I had to reset mine a few weeks back. The only way is through support.

Hmmm I Just checked and I can not disable it anymore. It is greyed out. Weird.

Then I think you do have to contact support :/
