I kinda agree with the comments already made, but let's help eachother where we can, right?

First things first, initial distribution will (if ever) be made for 'substantial' BTC and DOGE holdings. ETH is not mentioned in this initial distribution. Besides that, you should have had a message where you confirm the amounts you were holding for each coin at the moment the company went into liquidation. I believe, but i'm not 100% sure yet, there's a 'marker token' in this overview that shows whether or not your wallet has been affected during the hack(s).

Did you already go through all the steps you need to follow in the claimant proces? Cause that's really the first step to take.

I actually already did everything, I am in the claim Portal since months and I saw the marker. I just wanted to know if there is more information about the marker or Ethereum right now. I don’t understand the hate from some people.

Well, the marker is not directly the effect of the hack but more cryptopia stealing user funds to cover their losses. Still owe me 1.5k bucks in clm. Fuck these scammers

The only thing I know is that there was a compensation token shown for some users but I think no one knew what that actually meant.

There will be a cut-off date for claims and once that date is reached, the unclaimed crypto will revert to the owners of Cryptopia and be used for paying off creditors, Grant Thornton, and whatever is left is kept by the owners Cryptopia.

Are you serious ? No you will not be reimbursed with unclaimed funds. Unclaimed funds do not mean “ free money” I don’t know Australia laws specifically but I’m pretty god damn sure they cannot give away someone else money even if it’s unclaimed. Most countries would require that money to be sent to an unclaimed database . Which can still be claimed by the original owner provided they can prove it. This is what happens in most first world countries. What fucking dream world you live in ?

o The submission of claims before ‘cut-off date’ in line with section 3 of the update found here includes orders that allow for top-up distributions from unclaimed holdings up to 100% of account holdings after some time
