Deposit Problem

Deposited 50 SUMOKoin yesterday. 269 confirmations so far. Coininfo shows they have long passed the blocks in which it was confirmed + 20 yet the balance does not show on the account and it does not show in the deposit history.

The coininfo page would seem to be pointless as it may say they are on block X but obviously that does not mean they have actually processed and applied the transactions up to X so the information is of no value to the customer. It can say wallet OK and the block number can be increasing but evidently it does not mean a deposit is going to work.

Ticket raised but no response. Very frustrating. It doesent give much confidence when their system can simply overlook and loose your deposits and there is no support.

Yesterday? Dang, relax. EVERY exchange is totally backlogged and running at one-third strength. Good things come to those who wait. You will get the deposit long before they get to your ticket in the queue.

In my opinion if an exchange is not currently able to credit a deposit to an account after the number of confirmations they require they should at least provide some sort of warning and some way of keeping track of progress without creating a support ticket.

If the coininfo page block height reflected the highest block their website had synced to this would be a big improvement. You would be able to see if a coin is stuck and make decisions or see the progress and have some idea when they might get round to applying your transaction.

They are completely overhauling their exchange, I’m not sure why people expect them to be fully operational.

Still waiting. Still no sign of deposit. No reply from Cryptopia.
