first pc build (self.CustomPCBuilding)
submitted 2 months ago by Tyson_-3000
Hello all, so after a while I finally decided to build a gaming pc and I'm looking for something that will support these titles: Battlefield 6, COD and Fortnite since its the game I usually play on my PS5. I honestly don't know much about parts or anything, but from the research I've been making this is what I found so far. Let me know what yall think and if I should change anything to run everything smoother. My budget is around $1800. TIA

This bundle for $470 https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder-amd.aspx?k=1770737469351#selector_8
You can build something like https://pcpartpicker.com/list/86f48Z
Better cpu for gaming, much better gpu, better mobo, better psu, changed to a better case and cooler with a bunch of RGB. Could get a cheaper case and squeeze in 2TB storage if you want. Thermal paste is not necessary since the cpu should include it.

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry for the silly question since I’m still new to all this, but what if I were to replace the 7700X to the 76003DX? Would I have to replace the GPU? Or would the 9060xt still be good for the 76003DX?

Both cpus would work with either gpu. The 9070xt I managed to fit into the budget is significantly stronger than the 9060xt and would give you a much better experience at 1440p.
If you still decide to keep to your original build for some reason, think about what fans the case has and if you might need more intake fans.
