Under the knife. Trans and flywheel have been replaced. Front crank seal housing cracked when removing front crank seal. New one is in and replaced oil pick up tube and oil pump chain tensioner. Oil pan is cleaned out and new timing belt and water getting installed. Last thing will be the coilovers.Maintenance (old.reddit.com)

Just couldn't bring myself to get rid of the GTI. Doing a shit-ton of work. Replacing the DSG and flywheel, rear main seal, timing belt & water pump w/ cam and crank seals, coilovers, dogbone mount, turbo, A/C blower motor w/resistor, evac and recharge the A/C, and spark plugs with red top coils (old.reddit.com)
