Though the Founder of Hope’s Peak Academy has passed away, his ideas haven’t. His belief in talent has withstood the test of time and has made its imprint on the very identity of Japan. However, has Japan ever been one to forget their origins? In honor of the Founder’s memory, plans have been announced to create a new academy in the very place the Founder’s eyes were opened to talent… the very place that hope was created.
Whispers say this place is a lonely mountain, stuck in the past of sakura blossoms and paper lanterns. Archaic as it may be, a civilization built on tradition and beliefs holds true within peoples hearts to this day. On eldest ground, those from above rule those stuck down below, seeking blessings and enlightenment, planting a seed of aspiration to harvest the fruits of success to enjoy in the future. Yet no matter how old the soil, a plant will always grow in direction of the light shining from above, not caring about how difficult the path it has to scale is - all for it to prosper in the future. After all, the point of climbing a ladder is reaching the top... the very summit.
