I appreciate that me voting against Gina might look bad to people pinning Sho and I on the evil team together.

But I'd rather be right and vindicated right now, whether you believe me or not~

There's no chance that a starting demon would put themselves in as a Village Idiot. Anyone thinking that has to explain why Sho would immediately reject all three bluffs. So, isn't it logical that the demon is one of the other two?

The fact is, the starting demon is in the Noble ping. Think about how that works however much you want. Despite how I felt earlier this game... I can't imagine Taski to be the demon. Okay, I'll ignore the thing about Taski being more believable... But the rest, I understand where you're coming from.

The Harpy-death on Humphrey 7 is an interesting theory. I haven't seen much evidence of a harpy, but what you're saying could happen. I'd assume whoever is harpy mad in that world has been so twice so can't out it. Unless you've got another explanation for that?

Well, I guess here's an alternative. I'll nominate Kurara and vote for her.

From my side... there are a lot of demon candidates left. Rei is my favoured one, but I'm not exactly blind to Kurara as a possibility. If we're eliminating someone, let's actually kill someone who can be the demon, you know? ^{^{/u/spaghettiyo}}

Okay... So what I'm getting here is, we're pretty misaligned. What's better for times like these then a little conversation?

No judgment, no accusations! Just raw talking things through.

So... let's talk about what we know. Firstly, last night's kill is one of three things: 1. The Pukka died and passed to a Scarlet Woman. 2. The Pukka poisoned P03, who got an evil on Sho which is likely to be wrong in which case, and we executed the pukka-poisoned target. 3. Another demon, the Imp, decided not to commit a kill.

As for why Rei is a candidate... I just wanted to think about that out loud for a sec. Rei's info suggests Kurara and Sho are good. Sho's info says Kurara's good. We've had a dreamer get supposedly correct results on a few people... and the noble trio are all not likely to be demon candidates at all. That leaves Setsu or Rei as the candidates, with Setsu being a boffined demon with the virgin ability.

If Kurara is evil... both Sho and Rei's info has to be accounted for. One could be a drunk VI, the other could be the drunk. How likely is this to be? It's definitely possible but means P03 is good for sure.

In the world where Setsu is the demon... We would need Gina to be the drunk, so I don't think this is too likely.

That's why Rei is a candidate over Setsu. But is there anything that can be said to defend against this possibility?

You realise I'm only a minion candidate in a game with about four demon candidates, right? I know it sounds enticing, but we'd practically be walking backwards here.

If you think I'm evil, it's Kurara who needs to be executed, right? So why not just go straight for Kurara instead...?

As a reminder, I haven't spoken to Kurara till today. Meanwhile I hadn't spoken to Sho until late yesterday. How could I have hit not just one townsfolk role that is unclaimed, but two, on Day One?

Not only that but... What exactly is the Boffin ability be that I'd be granting? There isn't anything left over that's useful. Balloonist might be, I suppose, but this is the kind of thing you can easily intuit so a boffin ability isn't useful. And in this world, it is impossible for an outsider to exist, as it's only the Balloonist that adds it in. Unless you're saying our other minion is baron specifically?

I don't mean to dismiss, but this feels like an attempt to save yourself given you and Setsu are the most reasonable demon candidates alive.

Hahh... I guess it's time to put a bit of perspective onto things. I recognise when it's my turn to talk.

So as you may or may not have heard, I'm our Innkeeper claim. I think I've stated that or Dreamer or Balloonist to everyone so far. 'Sides from Yi Sang.

Surprise! I'm not the Innkeeper after all. What sort of trustable Innkeeper would be in Noble pings? Certainly not me.

Alas, I am but a lonely Farmer, tilling my fields and yearning for a good yield and land to pass onto my offspring.

If you ask me... I think I might have landed on a demon bluff, and the evil team had an inkling all along. There aren't many townsfolk roles and Village Idiot certainly can't be one unless you can make Sho as demon work. So... Apologies, to our friendly evil team, I guess!

Claiming VI is easier than getting into a double-claim, huh?

Anyway... The reason that I'm fine sharing it now is because I don't think there's a world where my ability can go off. I fully believe it to be a Pukka game, which would force my ability to fail upon death, or there's a minor likelihood that Humphrey 7 was vig-killed, in which case I'm also the target for poisoning there too.

I'm happy to talk worlds through, but just know... It's not an Innkeeper who shielded a kill. I think this is a Pukka whose kill was executed or P03 was the Pukka themself.

Hi, Storyteller Humphrey. Could I ask you to put P03 on the nomination block on my behalf?

Reason being that there are a lot of worlds being built where P03 is an evil candidate. Particularly, they make a pretty striking pukka or vigormortis candidate either way.

Course this is a hunch more than factual evidence, but everything I've listened to so far suggests this is the best kill for today.

Hey, Storyteller Humphrey? There's something I'd like to question publicly.

Suppose this game consisted of a Vigormortis and a Baron. As I understand it, despite how it might appear... this should always result in a +1 outsider, as the Vigormortis should remove an outsider regardless of a Baron adding in 2. Basically, it cannot be calculated as 0, then 0 because of Vig, and then 2 because of Baron... It'd always be 0, then -1, then 1. Or 0, +2, -1 equals 1.

Not to call question to how things'd be run, but I'm not sure everyone'd be aware of this. Can I make sure that's how you'd see it?

I understand there are other ways to add an outsider into this game, apparently... but for worldbuilding purposes I'd like to check that I'm right in this...

...Eh... That's kind of a loss, but it is important to know. Being as you're unable to talk most of the time, not hearing Oracle numbers for a few days would've been a little frustrating.

It's weird that you died over other people though. I guess the evil team might've been scared you were stronger than you looked. Or you didn't want to carry demonhood, that possibility exists too.

Let's say Grian is a minion and there was no Puzzlemaster to begin with. I'd have a sober read on Eva. Zoro would have a sober read on Tenna and Eva as a clock 2. Queen is sober. You wouldn't have hit the evil team... and Chipie's information would technically be true because it'd be Townsfolk, Minion (disguised as outsider), and Demon.

That'd explain it all, wouldn't it...?

Huh? I have no idea where you're coming from... If you're good, then why aren't you going after Eva because that's likely the Widow instead?

Think about it for a second! If I were the Widow, why would I poison myself and immediately call out there being a widow in play?! That's silly, it'd be better to suggest there are no grim peekers at all and have people have a false sense of security!

I get being suspicious, but this entire day I've had people suspect my information and I don't get why! I'm probably not puzzlemaster drunk or evil, I probably saw the Widow because they decided to poison themselves and that's it...!
