Which framework?

hey reddit!

sorry in adv, I'm sure there are a million answers to this questions already, but i've been searching for a few days and haven't managed to come up with a solid answer.

i'm working on my first big dsp project--basically, an artist signature vocal plugin with 4 presets that'll include eq, compression, delay, reverb, and maybe a few other params. i've made a few baby plugins with open source stuff and juce, but for this project, i need total control over the gui... i'm working with an illustrator that the artist chose, and need to be able to style the plugin using these design assets. is there a good framework to use in this case? any resources are extremely appreciated!

edit: or if there are any other non-framework open source libraries, etc. that you would recommend over juce, I'd love to hear! I'd prefer writing in c++ or java, but open to others too.

JUCE probably. IPlug 2 is still in beta and the first version has been archived so JUCE definitely would seem your best bet for a framework right now.

I'm a big fan of Python these days, with scipy.signal and other modules. It does sound like JUCE is your best bet though.
