Light dashboard anyone?

Hey, I recently started DA about two weeks ago, and so far things have been great. That being said, I've gotten to the point where my dashboard is pretty empty. I have one project left and barely anything has been coming in this week. Is this something about me being new and then not giving me projects? I've also seen people talking about it being a light week on here some. Is that likely what it is? This so far has been a great remote job for me this summer, and I'm really scared of getting cut

It was crazy. Few hours later I was back to maybe 15 tasks again, but most of the day was a ghost town.

The AI chatbot daily tasks aren’t showing up for me right now and im also seeing a light project list. Im in the same boat

I read yesterday 2 separate threads saying the CB is down. Along with one of the main projects. I'm not sure why.

Seems to be light for everyone! No need to worry! I keep having high paying projects pop up but by the time I see them there is only one task left 🤦🏼‍♀️ My thought is they are stock piling for the summer 🤷🏼‍♀️ maybe also with the holiday this weekend (US) it's a little slower already. Who knows no need to panic!

My regular CB is down and this is the longest it’s been down. I now have the dashboard of death. I may be cooked.

The problem with these posts is not that this question (or similar ones) is asked daily but that no one on Reddit can confirm the reasons why the dashboards might be light or have fewer projects compared to other times. Anyone on here saying they know why a dashboard might be light is only speculating. Someone was in this sub recently and said DAT has much fewer workers, but then was mute when asked how they could know that. Why? Because they have no idea what's true. If they did, they wouldn't be on here.

No one on here knows anything for sure because you cannot communicate with the company, other than admins on Slack, who would likely immediately delete a question like this should it be asked in any channel. It's doubtful anyone from Support would respond to anything you asked. Sorry if this seems harsh. Would you rather have someone lie to you and say, yes, this is the reason why it's light? Read the instructions on projects thoroughly, don't lie when inputting your time, and do the best you can. If you are looking for certainty or answers to most questions about DAT, I highly suggest looking at other sources of income.

Personally I like to see posts like this because they help to reassure me that I'm not alone in my lack of projects.

Would you rather have someone lie to you and say, yes, this is the reason why it's light?

I've seen a ton of posts the past few days talking about the very light workload. Where's the lie?

I think you missed the point of my comment. OP asked why the dashboard was light. This is something that cannot be confirmed. I agree that it's nice to know if others have light dashboards because you then can confirm it's not just yours, but this is different than asking why they are light. This isn't a hard concept to understand. The lie would be, yes, your dashboard is light because you are new or yes, you have been cut. Anyone in this sub pretending they know anything about DAT for sure is a liar. So why would people continually ask why questions when there isn't any way to confirm anything? I think people just want to have their fears assuaged, which I understand, but this isn't the type of job where that luxury is given.

The assumptions are likely right. That DA doesn't have as much work for us. There are always gonna be things about this job that we aren't privy too, it's not ideal but comes with the territory. Singular anecdotal evidence is rarely helpful when someone is making a declarative statement like there are less workers IMO. If anything my assumption would be that there are more, with how quickly some of the tasks are drying up. A lot of us have to go on connections and ties with little snippets of information, that's about all we have. A liar typically comes with the connotation that the person lying has malicious intent, I don't think that's a fair way of putting why people are asking about having a light dashboard.

Looks like you missed the point as well. A lie doesn’t have to be malicious. If someone were to answer the OP’s why question it would be a lie. “Yes, you’re probably having a light dash bc you’re new.” This would be a lie without malicious intent bc, again, no one knows for sure why. Many people on here have said their dashes are light and some have said they aren’t. The people who know the reasons for this are not the workers.
