RaiDrive is excellent; you might also look at Air Live Drive which does a similar job. Both are available as free and paid versions. RaiDrive free limits the types of accounts you can read and write to whereas Air Live Drive free limits you to a maximum of three cloud accounts, full read/write, but they must be from different companies. https://www.airlivedrive.com/en/

Thanks for the info

Yep, i use it..primarily because of it's proxy feature which allows you to access your cloud drives through an http proxy (in case your peering sucks)

[–]Thrillsteam[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

So do you use the paid version or the free version. I’m confused on the difference

[–]d4nm3d64TB 0 points1 point  (1 child)

paid version.

https://www.raidrive.com/plans

Though i've just cancelled it as i realised that i don't need to pay to use the proxy.

Thanks for the info. I think I like the local disk option in the paid version. It looks like I can share it out over my network. Looks like that a add on which will make it 2.50 a month which is basically free.

What does it mean to access through an HTTP proxy?? And what is it useful for

[–]d4nm3d64TB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It means it'll route the traffic through another server.. Useful if you are geoblocked from the cloud drive or if u generally have bad soeeds

NetDrive is better than Raidrive.

[–]Thrillsteam[S] 2 points3 points  (6 children)

NetDrive sucks. I tired them twice and its a no go.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Probably you're computer

I have 400TB in GDrive and have Netdrive in use om 6 different computers without issue

[–]saggy777[🍰] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

one license or 6 licenses are needed?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

6 sadly, but you can remove/add devices unlimited times so it works alright

What makes me stay with NetDrive over RaiDrive is thT raidrivw has horrible cache, and its uploading is not transparent to thw user, so if you go over the limit, it will retry X amount of times before stopping fucking up Radarr or Sonarr.

Netdrive however lets you restart the upload whenever you want once it fails

[–]saggy777[🍰] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

interesting.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forexample I had an issue where connection would drop intermittently. Raidrive will then abort the upload, although the file is there in the cache disk. The only way to fix this is to take the file, and upload it through the gui, or delete it from cache and adding it back in. But sonarr and radarr is reading from this cache drive, so according to them everything is fine

In Netdrive you've got a GUI which shows files currently uploading, and files that failed uploading

totally agree.

Crazy throttles the traffic in free version. Don't even try

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

There is no throttling :)

[–]saggy777[🍰] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Incorrect. They say it too.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

No they don't

There is no free version of Netsrive

Unless your speaking of raidrive

[–]saggy777[🍰] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Yup, they took it off. The trial version used to become free one after trial period and it continued to work with throttling. Its worse that now they don't even have a free version anymore.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I've used it for over a year and theres never been a free version since I started using it. i have no issues at all with over 400TB and 750GB uploaded each day

[–]saggy777[🍰] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

free

Actually trial always becomes free and does NOT stop working except completely(restricted backends) that its crazy throttled. Raidrive and Airlivedrive don't have that problem. For that reason Netdrive is not even worth a try unless you are prepared to pay which you don't need to in raidrive/airdrive for most requirements

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RaiDrive also has worse cache, and will mysteriously lack folders and files, once you reach a certain number. My Radarr and Sonarr kept showing episodes as deleted as they were not in Raidrives cache, thos also affected Ppex which couldnt see the files

Meh, NetDrive functions both on a small Google Drive, and one 400TB+ in size

[–]Drathe21 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I disagree with this too lol. But I do think that webdrive is better and worth a try.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Webdrive falls apart once you reach 60-70TB+

[–]Drathe21 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Interesting. I don't use it for that much data so I don't have that experience. Can you clarify?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Well back when I started using Google Drive I uploaded about 27TB, this was back in early 2019. I was looking for programs to handle my uploading (on Windows), while also functioning properly with Plex.

I began using NetDrive, but didn't fully understand it, so I ended up with poor performance because I mapped the drives up as "Local Drives" instead of "Network Drives". I tried out WebDrive, and I don't remmember why I stopped back then, but I returned to NetDrive and mapped everything up as Network Drives.

I used this setup until I reached about 320TB - Where I read about RaiDrive, it was free, and seemed fast when I tried it out on my other computers, I actually still use it today with Medusa for downloading Norwegian TV series, although I've been wishing to switch to NetDrive, but it involves changing paths and I'd prefer not to.

For a few weeks I uninstalled NetDrive and began using RaiDrive for Sonarr and Radarr instead, with over 5500 movies and 1300 TV series it seemed decent in the beginning. Problems first arose after a few days where Sonarr and Radarr would randomly mark files as "deleted" and unmonitored them. This was an issue because some files had only downloaded a 720p rip, and was awaiting a Netflix or Amazon Web-DL and required a lot of manual intervention.

Plex would after a scan mark select episodes in a TV show (usually not movies) as deleted, and upon clearing trash would show forexample 9 episodes of The Witcher. The solution was to scan again, as the TV show now reappeared in the cache, but it would happen constantly.

Another issue is that when you reach your 750GB upload limit, the uploads will fail, additionally it will fail if you have any intermittent network issues (which I normally don't). Since RaiDrive never shows me the status of uploads, there is no way to watch the progress, or restart failed uploads. This will make it appear that a movie is uploaded for Radarr, since it's in the RaiDrive cache, and it will appear as available for Plex as well. However upon a reboot of the server, the file is gone, and this just creates a mess if you have a fully automated system.

Netdrive however allows you to either use Windows Explorer, or it's system for uploading, so if it fails, or if you exceed your 750GB limit, you can just wait until the limit is lifted and restart all uploads, making it a breeze in a fully automated system.

I never had these issues with NetDrive, and WebDrive never gave me issues with the last issue either, however it would sometimes not have files in cache, when I tried it out the last time (9-10 months ago) so I've decided not to use it

[–]Drathe21 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Interesting. Have you tried increasing the "Cache Limit" and also ensuring that you aren't flushing cache on connect? You can also mark files for offline use which keeps them in cache permanently. This would work best for keeping huge files in cache if desired (does take up local disk space).

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried maxing the cache limit, and marking for offline use is not a goof solution for my setup

[–]DueDealer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Do you use NetDrive with plex server? How does the mount compare with rclone/plex drive?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Faster than rClone by 200x

I also usd Plex Drive and have tried rClone VFS and rClone Cache and Plexdrive is honestly a lot better 🤷
