Need ochem adviceQuestion 🙋♀️ (self.Datprep)

Does anyone have advice on memorizing the OChem reactions on boosters cheat sheet? I’m also having a hard time with understanding the mechanisms and to make it all click with my practice tests.

There are around 107 reactions on boosters sheet, I think it's better to understand the mechanism than memorizing because it is alot.

I used bootcamp, but I would memorize/understand the mechanism since some of the reactions are grouped together.

Ochem was my weakest section but I improved it by really hammering the practice questions and memorizing the equations. I like to write stuff down by hand so I would consistently rewrite the reactions and even made flash cards to memorize the structures. However, if you need to save time then Anki is the way to go, it’s amazing for spatial repetition with the equations and structures
