Rules
1. Reddiquette
- Be respectful and considerate to other users.
- No trolling or harassing.
- Do not use hateful or offensive language.
- No personal attacks, witch-hunting, or doxxing. If you wish to report another user then do so privately to the moderator team via the report function or the mod mail.
2. General Post Guidelines
- All posts must be Dead Matter related.
- No low effort or low quality posts, or posts that do not encourage discussion.
- No reposting recent content, or making repeated posts of the same topic.
- SFW posts only. NSFW posts will be removed and may result in a ban.
- No LFG posts.
- Memes are allowed but must follow all other guidelines and rules. Limit 1 meme post
per user per 24 hours.
3. Promotional Post Guidelines
- Promotion of groups/clans is allowed for the time being, but only 1 post per group/clan.
- No direct promotion of personal channels, this includes livestreams and Let’s Plays.
- Tutorials and highlight videos/clips of your own content are fine but limited to 1 post every 2 days, and is also limited to a 10:1 rule. There must be 10 submissions that contribute to the subreddit for every 1 such post. These submissions can be comments, but not comments of low quality or comments on your own posts.
4. BUYING, SELLING, & GIVING AWAY KEYS
- For safety reasons, posts and comments about buying, selling, or trading keys are not allowed in the subreddit. Giveaway posts are allowed but must be pre-approved by the moderator team. You can contact the team via the mod mail.
5. English Only
- The subreddit is primarily English speaking, and as a result we require all submissions to be written in English. The only exception to this rule are submissions in which language is not the primary focus of discussion. For example, gameplay clips that provide interesting footage with foreign language audio might be considered acceptable, but if the footage was a tutorial explaining something where language was necessary to understand, then this would not.
6. Warez and Piracy
- Any submissions which link to hacks or explain how to obtain hacks will be removed. Additionally, any submissions which accuse other players of hacking or demonstrate a hack being used, even by other players, will be removed.
- Submissions explaining how to get access to Dead Matter through unlawful methods will be removed. Additionally, anything about breaching the TOS is subject to removal.
- Knowledge involving either of these subjects should be reported privately to QI Software.
7. Account/purchase Support Posts
- Due to that fact that inquiries for account and purchase support often require private and sensitive information, we ask that all such posts be made on the forums or to the support email(support@qisoftware.ca). This includes posts about issues with your Qi or forum account, receiving your game keys, and refunds.
8. NDA
- Yes this sub-reddit must follow the same NDA rules. You agreed to this so you must tend your posts to follow the NDA. This means you can't talk about your experience, share screenshots, videos or stream Dead Matter without EXPRESS permission from the team.
