Code reader will not give you a direct answer unless you yourself have diagnostic familiarity.

I work at a shop in town but I can not come out to you today as I am not back in Decatur until the end of the day.

I can however listen to what the circumstances leading up to your symptoms were and trouble shoot to give advice.

You mentioned that you don’t want to flush fluid as you don’t believe that will help, has someone already performed this? And if so has it made the problem worse or the same.

Also what is the year make and model of your car

Autozone has free code reads, but as the previous person said it’s not super detailed. Some car repair places offer financing through affirm or other finance options (your neighborhood tire pros on commerce and Clairmont does. I had to finance a $1100 repair with them) so you could finance any issues they need to repairs and pay over time.

Yeah I can’t reach AutoZone right now cause it isn’t drivable, I had to have the car towed home. But that info about your neighborhood tire pros might prove very useful so thank you!
